THF SEC Mark-Houwink-Sakurada Correction

Content Developed by Dr Dominik Konkolewicz

The first spreadsheet and the associated read-me file can be used to correct size exclusion chromatography (SEC) derived number average molecular weights (Mn), weight averaged molecular weight (Mw) and molar mass dispersity (Mw/Mn). Select the tab based on either poly(styrene) (PSty) or poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) standards for the tetrahydrofuran (THF) eluent. Note this correction only applies to PMMA or PSty based apparent molecular weights for the listed polymers where THF is the solvent.

The second spreadsheet and the read-me file can correct the molecular weight distribution (full trace) from PMMA or PSty standards to the molecular weight distribution of the analyzed polymer, so long as the MHS corrections are known.
